After a huge 68-point win over Castleford Tigers last Saturday, Leeds Rhinos Reserves look for back-to-back away results when they head to Victoria Park on Sunday to take on Warrington Wolves, kick off 1pm.

13 tries at The OneBore Stadium handed Chev Walker's side their first points since the Reserves season split at the end of June and broke a two-game losing streak after the side came away from games against Hull KR and Wigan Warriors with defeats. Nevertheless, the side has enjoyed a largely successful season so far with eight wins in 13 games, and Sunday offers a chance for revenge after Warrington came away from Stanningley with a 30-18 result earlier in the season. An opposite result this weekend would prove important not only in getting the side back to winning ways, but also put the Rhinos in contention for a home semi-final should they get a favourable result in the final two games against Wakefield and Hull FC.

Walker has plenty of firepower at his disposal, even with players earning opportunities to step up and feature for Brad Arthur's side. Ever-present Riley Lumb extended his try-scoring antics to 21 for the Reserves season as he recorded a fourth hat trick in 2026, whilst other first team talents Ned and Fergus McCormack, and Jeremiah Mata'utia had good outings against the Tigers. The Under-18s Academy talent that is stepping up also has enjoyed good seasons at Reserves grade too - notably Jacob Hardy, Zak Lloyd, Hughie Tinkler and Evan Jones.

Last year's Reserves Grand Finalists Warrington enter this week a point ahead of Leeds in the current Reserves standings, despite losing their first game since the season split last time out against Hull FC.

A run of three consecutive wins down the final stretch of the campaign saw the Wolves beat Bradford, Wakefield and St Helens to keep themselves behind leaders Wigan, but they have been forced into close contests during the second half of the season so far. Starting with a 17-10 win over the Tigers, the Wire were pulled into a close contest with Hull FC last weekend and suffered a late drop goal winner as the Black and Whites took a step closer to a top four spot themselves. 

Looking to get back to winning ways against the Rhinos this weekend, Sunday is the final home match for Warrington in the second half of the campaign. They head away to Wigan and Wakefield in the final two games before a potential semi-final.
